It has the three screws securing the truss-rod cover so probably Asian manufacture.
Thank you for your time and look forward to your reply. Hi, I have an Epiphone Riviera in wine red that I bought a few years ago.
Hi there I am trying to date my PR 350e and find out country of manufacture. The guy who sold it to me said it was made in Japan in the very early 1970s, most likely 1971.
The serial number is 880509595 and it's located on a stick-on strip on the back of the headstock.
The front of the headstock has "Epiphone by Gibson" at the top and the Epiphone logo at the bottom. ______________________________________________________________________ Greetings, I am trying to confirm the year this guitar was made. I was told is was made in 2003 as a "Les Paul Pro Top".
Since 1989, all Gibson acoustics are built in Bozeman, MT and all Gibson electrics are built in Nashville or Memphis.
Ranking numbers for Bozeman start each day at 001 and the electrics may start as low as the 300s.
“Made In USA” was added to the serial number stamp and the numbers were date coded in the same way that they had been between ’65 and ’67.
These serial numbers were also either 5 or 6 digit numbers, depending on the month of production.
It has an orange label inside the F-hole with the serial number 93166 on it.
